TEAMBUILDING

In 1998 I was trained in Low and High Ropes Teambuilding and Experiential Education. For more than 20 years, I have worked with schools, churches, and corporate groups across the country.
In "Teambuilding", individuals and groups learn innovative and effective techniques that help maximize productivity, build tolerance, and understand what motivates the decision making process. All this is accomplished using techniques that are research based and have proven results in an environment that is challenging and fun. All activities can be tailored to meet the needs of each school, organization, or group requesting service.
In "Low Ropes", individuals and groups also learn innovative and effective techniques that help maximize productivity, build tolerance, and understand what motivates the decision making process. This is accomplished by the use of a ropes course which uses activities that are built elements. While ropes courses do require some physical activity, all participation is done under the philosophy of challenge by choice which allows participants to decide which way and to what extent they are able to participate in a challenge. This philosophy allows individuals to contribute their unique gifts to the group process. The techniques used are research based and have proven results in an environment that is challenging and fun.
Low Ropes activities are more team oriented than High Ropes and generally take place within a couple of feet from the ground.
In "High Ropes", much like Teambuilding, and Low Ropes, individuals and groups learn innovative and effective techniques that help maximize productivity, build tolerance, and understand what motivates the decision making process. This is accomplished by the use of a ropes course which uses activities that are built elements. The philosophy of challenge by choice is strictly enforced and participants decide which way and to what extent they are able to participate in a challenge. As with Teambuilding and Low Ropes, techniques used are research based and have proven results in an environment that is challenging and fun.
While High Ropes activities tend to be less team focused, there is a very high component of support and encouragement. High Ropes generally take place several feet off the ground and require participants to be harnessed for safety.
