Professionally, I have spent the majority of my career as an educator in both the public and private sectors, but my true passion has always been art and creative thinking. While I have spent the majority of my career as an educator, I have continued to create art, repurpose furniture, and designed and produced products.
I published my first children's book, Miguel Goes to Eagle School, in March of 2020. As part of my publishing journey, I realized that there is a disparity of diversity in publishing. So I started my own publishing company, Dancing Duck Publishing LLC, to help others navigate the publishing landscape as well as to maintain full control over my book and future projects.
I also have more that 24 years of working with both student and corporate groups in Teambuilding and personal and professional development.
